Big City Punch

  • Total Time: 7 minutes

Description

Don’t let the flavor of this fruity drink fool you- aptly named, it packs a punch. The liquors combine perfectly with the rest of the ingredients, so much so that you might not even notice the alcohol until you finish the drink.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 fl oz vodka
  • 1 fl oz triple sec
  • 1 fl oz white rum
  • 1 fl oz gin
  • 1 1/2 fl oz cranberry juice
  • 2 tbsp freshly brewed jasmine tea
  • A dash of peach syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 oz lemonade
  • 1/4 cup nata de coco
  • Freshly sliced strawberry and a lime wedge to garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add in the vodka, gin, triple sec, white rum, cranberry juice, jasmine tea, and a dash of peach syrup.
  2. Put the lid on and shake for a few seconds.
  3. Put the nata de coco in the bottom of a highball glass and strain the contents of the shaker into the glass (do not include the ice).
  4. Pour in the lemonade and garnish with strawberry slices and a lime wedge. Add fresh ice to the glass if desired.

Notes

You can change the flavor of this drink by trying different fruit juices, such as grapefruit juice for a more tart flavor or passionfruit juice for a sweeter flavor. You could even use apple juice for a peach-apple flavor that would be delicious!

On a hot day, add the ingredients into a blender and blend them with ice to make a slushie.

The serving glass matters in this case. I suggest a highball glass because half of the drink is liquor. If you serve it in a regular boba glass, your serving will likely be too large, and you’ll also drink it too quickly through a boba straw. This cocktail is made to be sipped. You can serve it with a spoon to eat the nata de coco.
